TAFE NSW’s Women in Business series aims to encourage, inspire and educate female entrepreneurs.

As one of Australia’s leading providers of education and training, offering over 1,200 courses and a wide range of study options, TAFE NSW has the capacity to set past, present and future students on their dream path.

Marise Payne, the Minister for Women, and Geoffrey Lee, the Minister for TAFE, approached TAFE NSW with the concept for a free, online program to support female entrepreneurs: the Women in Business series.

With great enthusiasm, but limited internal capacity, TAFE’s video production team entrusted the project to BEING.

Videography

Quick procurement set the tone for the pace of the project, with only a few months to record and deliver all content. Filming for ten days over two weeks – with two days of interstate travel – videographers interviewed nine inspiring entrepreneurs in two-hour slots, capturing content for phase one of the program.

Though the overall deadline was quick and strict expectations were to be met, the team remained responsive and compliant in delivering a high-quality result.

Since those initial videos offering education across ten key topics, BEING has continued to support Women in Business with the production of practical instructional videos from subject matter experts, and individual case studies to excite and encourage viewers.

Participants in the program enjoy hearing from some of Australia’s leading female entrepreneurs — including Boost Juice’s Janine Allis, and Founder and CEO of The Right Fit, Taryn Williams — as well as successful small business owners.

Livestream

To accompany the Women in Business course, BEING aids TAFE NSW in hosting live broadcasts with female entrepreneurs to allow for real-time interaction between registered students and subject matter experts.

Support includes set design and the setup, pack down and management of all audio visual equipment, including lighting, cameras and teleprompters. Prior to the event, The Being Group conducts a full test and technical rehearsal. BEING also monitors cameras and audio quality throughout the broadcast, to ensure a successful livestream in collaboration with the TAFE NSW team and livestreaming partners.

Working with The Being Group has been a delight. They are consummate professionals at every turn – from client servicing, to production and delivery. A very quality product, delivered with no fuss, on time (to a short timeframe) and reasonably priced – it’s everything one wants from a service provider. Thank you to the entire BEING team. We look forward to working with you on the next project.
