Leisha Kapor is an expert in complex communication, with extensive experience in the private and public sectors. She is highly skilled at research, facilitation, consultation and translating complex information into engaging and accessible content for diverse audiences.
Through roles in industrial relations, journalism and marketing, Leisha honed her skills in change management, strategy and learning, while developing a deep understanding and appreciation of a wide range of leadership challenges.
Experience
Long before her career with The Being Group, Leisha’s time working in design and media for one of Australia’s largest trade unions sparked an interest in the relationship between visuals and text when communicating a strategic message, which started her on the path to consulting.
Leisha first joined BEING as Senior Copywriter, helping clients across the public and private sectors tell their stories and market their brands in the best possible way. Over three years, Leisha’s role evolved from determining how to best word an idea, into determining what those ideas should be. As Senior Consultant, she takes that experience a step further, developing, researching and implementing cut-through ideas and strategies.
Leisha has worked with a broad range of clients, including Hitachi, Mirvac, Oticon, AMP Capital, Telstra, Optus, Synergy Group, the Australian Taxation Office, the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, the Department of Social Services, the NSW Department of Education, the NSW Office of Sport, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, and the Australian Cyber Security Centre.
